The Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems section (phew, say that five times) is one of the four sections of the MCAT. It tests your understanding of mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of human tissues and organ systems. It also tests your knowledge of the basic chemical and physical principles in the human body and your ability to apply your understanding of these basic chemical and physical principles to living systems. In other words, you’ve got to know more than the periodic table.
In this MCAT Master Class, instructor Phil Hawkins looks at necessary chemistry topics you need to know, with an emphasis on acid titrations. You’ll have the chance to go over practice problems and get your questions answered by a 99th-percentile instructor.
Our goal at Next Step is to make sure that you have the resources needed to prepare for the MCAT and your future career. This webinar is just a sampling of what our course students have access to on a regular basis. If you’re interested in our online MCAT course, click here. We also have several practice test bundles, including a free practice bundle, as well as one-on-one MCAT tutoring services. If you utilize our tutoring services or enroll in our course, you will receive customized plans that work at your pace and focus on the areas where you need to improve the most. What works for some may not work for all, so we are doing away with the cookie-cutter approach and making sure that your study plan works for you.
